Norwalk man pleads guilty to sex trafficking of 14-year-old girl

NORWALK - A Norwalk man is facing life in prison after authorities say he pleaded guilty in a sex-trafficking case involving a 14-year-old girl.

Prosecutors say that 23-year-old Theodore Briggs admitted to bringing the girl to New York and Atlantic City to work as a prostitute, where he pocketed the money she earned.

Norwalk police caught Briggs last year after he was driving the wrong way down a street and subsequently tried to hit an officer directing traffic.
