Norwalk marks anniversary of historic battle
NORWALK - Revolutionary War re-enactors transformed Mill Hill Park in Norwalk into a historic camp on Sunday.
The Norwalk Historical Society brought in the re-enactors to celebrate the 235th anniversary of the Battle and Burning of Norwalk during the Revolutionary War.
Visitors got to check out traditional clothes and gear. Demonstrations were also given on firing a musket and riding a horse into battle.

Historians say the Battle and Burning of Norwalk was the largest single battle ever fought in Connecticut.
