Norwalk murder victim laid to rest

NORWALK - Family and friends said their final goodbyes this morning to a Norwalk teen killed earlier this month.

A funeral was held at the First Congregational Church for Amos Brown Jr., who was shot in the head on August 13 and later died from his injuries.

Brown had been found not guilty by reason of self defense last year in the stabbing death of a teenager at a party in 2008.

Brown's family says it believes his murder was gang retribution for the other death. RELATED STORIES:
