Norwalk officers acquitted of police brutality

Two Norwalk police officers were found not guilty Monday by a federal jury in New Haven on charges they assaulted a man during an arrest

NEW HAVEN - Two Norwalk police officers were found not guilty Monday by a federal jury in New Haven on charges they assaulted a man during an arrest four years ago.

Branden Holloway, 28, accused Detective Terrence Blake and Sgt. Marc Lepore of Tasering, holding a gun to his mouth and pistol whipping him.

The officers say Holloway resisted arrest after they found cocaine and a pistol in his car.
