NORWALK - Norwalk police are urging the public to be cautious of car burglaries after a rash of thefts.

Authorities say there were 27 break-ins during a one-week stretch.

The burglaries ranged from smash-and-grab jobs to residents leaving their doors unlocked.

Police say they have several persons of interest in the crimes as they continue their investigation.
