A Norwalk police dog is ready to return to work after being stabbed.Police say Czar was stabbed in the tongue and cut on his face

NORWALK - A Norwalk police dog is ready to return to work after being stabbed.

Police say Czar was stabbed in the tongue and cut on his face while breaking up a knife fight Saturday.

Police say Czar has recovered after spending time at home, eating ice cream.

He was just awarded last week for his work last summer catching the suspect in a double murder.
