Norwalk police hunt grocery store gunman

NORWALK - Norwalk police say they believe the man who shot a woman in a Stop & Shop parking lot is armed, dangerous and still in the area.

Police say the suspect tried to rob a 50-year-old Greenwich woman, then possibly tried to carjack her vehicle before shooting her in the stomach.

Police have released surveillance video of the crime and are warning the public not to approach the suspect if he is spotted.

The victim has been released from the hospital and is recovering.
