NORWALK - The Radio Shack in Norwalk was closed most of the day following a break-in late last night. While police investigate, store managers are trying to figure out how much was stolen from the store.

According to police, the burglars gained access to the store by driving a car through the front door, shattering the front of the store. So far, no arrests have been made, and police are still gathering evidence. Norwalk's Deputy Chief Thomas Kulhawik says he expects someone will come forward.

It's not yet known how much was taken, though others who work in the strip mall tell News 12 Connecticut they heard DVD players and other electronics were stolen. Store managers have yet to do an inventory check to figure out exactly how much was stolen.

The store's manager tells News 12 Connecticut that a repair company has fixed the main entrance and the store is open again.
