Norwalk residents dig out from winter blast

NORWALK - Norwalk residents spent the day digging out from the latest blast of winter weather to blanket the area.

Residents said that they appreciate the hard work snow-removal crews are putting in, but they're frustrated that when plows come by, they push all the snow onto the sidewalks.

Many said the mounds of snow left on their cars from the plows made them late for work.  Others said they opted to stay home instead of digging out.

City officials said they were doing the best they can to clear all the snow, but making roads passable was a higher priority than clearing all of the sidewalks.
