Norwalk substitute teacher arrested

NORWALK - A substitute teacher in Norwalk has been arrested after police say she had inappropriate contact with a student at Briggs High School in April.

Dina McNelis, 49, of West Haven, is charged with risk of injury to a minor and has been ordered not to have unsupervised contact with kids under 18.

Police have not said exactly what McNelis is accused of doing.

Police say once McNelis knew of her warrant, she voluntarily turned herself in. McNelis has posted bond and is expected to face a judge later this month.
