Norwalk teen charged in connection with '08 fatal stabbing

NORWALK - A Norwalk teen was charged with murder today in connection to the fatal stabbing of a Bridgeport man more than two years ago.

Lamont McCrae, 18, was arraigned today in the murder of 20-year-old Vonterrell George outside of South China Restaurant on Woodward Avenue in Norwalk.

Court documents say a credible witness finally came forward and was able to pick McCrae out of a lineup of potential suspects. Witnesses say the incident stemmed from gang-related activity.

McCrae is being held on $1 million bond.
