NORWALK - Norwalk plans to install electric car charging stations at some parking lots.

Mayor Dick Moccia says two will be at the SoNo train station, the others at the Yankee Doodle and Maritime parking garages.

Moccia says the chargers cost about $25,000, but the city is getting them for free through a federal grant.

He says they should be installed by Christmas.
