NORWALK - A Norwalk woman was hospitalized after police found her lying unconscious on the side of the road, after hitting two parked cars.

Officials say that the woman has not yet been interviewed but claim the cause of the accident could have been alcohol, drug or medical-related.

Officials say the woman was headed north on Clinton Avenue when she veered across the yellow line, hitting a parked car before bouncing off of it and hitting another vehicle across the street.

There was smoke coming out of the car and the airbags had been deployed. Police say the impact was severe.
