Norwalk woman seeking answers in husband's beating

NORWALK - A Norwalk woman is searching for answers as her husband lays in a coma from a brutal beating on his walk home from a grocery store.

Melissa Clark says her husband Donald was attacked around 10 p.m. Monday outside of their Chapel Street apartment.

Clark made it in inside before falling unconscious with several gashes in his head.

Clark says police took her son's scooter and skateboard that were covered with blood and apparently used to bludgeon her husband's head.

Clark says her husband is in intensive care at Norwalk Hospital in stable condition. Doctors say he has a long recovery ahead of him.
