NORWALK - More details have been released in the investigation into the small plane crash near Westchester County Airport that killed a member of the Rockefeller family.

As News 12 previously reported, the plane crashed in a neighborhood of Harrison, N.Y. minutes after takeoff, killing 65-year-old Richard Rockefeller, the great-grandson of Standard Oil co-founder John D. Rockefeller.

The National Transportation Safety Board says the air traffic controller could not tell whether the plane had taken off, due to the poor visibility and weather conditions at the time.
