BRIDGEPORT - A young woman raised in Bridgeport has been reunited with her biological mother after finding out she was kidnapped 23 years ago.

Police say Carlina White was taken by someone posing as a nurse at Harlem Hospital in 1987 when she was 3 weeks old. They say she grew up on Priscilla Court in Bridgeport under the name Nejdra Nance.

White says she found a baby photograph that looked like her on a missing children website and contacted her biological mother. Officials say a DNA test confirmed her true identity.

The FBI, along with police in Connecticut and New York, are investigating. So far, no arrests have been made.
