Occupy Darien rally draws counter-protest

DARIEN - The second day of the Occupy Darien rally drew a small counter-protest at Tilley Pond Park this afternoon. A group of former Occupy Wall Street protesters gathered at the park yesterday, and reconvened today to highlight what it is calling nationwide discrepancies in wealth and job opportunities. Those who countered the protesters say they have no issue with the tea party and were solely at the park to support their own values. Occupy Darien organizers say they are trying to build additional crowds, but fear judgment from the town's conservative political base. Small group of Occupy protesters converge on Darien
