GREENWICH - Hundreds turned out at the Teen Center in Greenwich over the weekend for the musical comedy Spamalot.

The Off-Beat Players, consisting of 30 people in their late teens and 20s, worked together to stage the Broadway hit.

Kim Malara, a Greenwich High School special education teacher, founded the Off-Beat Players seven years ago with a mission to create a theatre company that fully includes people of all abilities.

The show integrates performers with disabilities like Down syndrome or autism in a one-of-a-kind experience to build skills and self-esteem.

The Off-Beat Players say they rely on ticket sales and donations to keep the organization going.
