BETHEL - Firefighters in Bethel are working to identify the person found dead in a burning house early Thursday morning.

They say the body was found in the home on Castle Hill Drive shortly after the fire broke out around 1 a.m.

Officials say the house was fully engulfed in flames when rescuers arrived.

Firefighters were forced to bring in water tankers because there are no hydrants in the neighborhood, according to authorities.

There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
