NORWALK - City inspectors say the Old Tokeneke Bridge that some refer to as a landmark needs to be demolished.

Officials say the bridge, which has connected Norwalk to Rowayton and Rowayton to Darien since 1935, has been falling apart and that the falling stones are hazardous.

Norwalk Councilwoman Nora King believes that considering the demolition costs, the city could instead pay to restore the bridge.
