BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport fire officials are investigating a fire that ripped through three floors of a house on Dewhirst Street Saturday evening.

Officials say that neighbors reported seeing two people come out of the house. The pair was held by police and questioned by an arson investigator, fire officials said.

The house went up in flames at around 5:15 p.m., according to officials. The house suffered deep damage but no injuries were reported.
