VERNON - Investigators say a propane leak was the cause of last week's house explosion in Vernon.

According to investigators, the gas line was supplying a dryer.

Officials say the blast hurt seven people, including four children Thursday afternoon.

They say crews had to dig through what was left of the home to pull some of the victims to safety.
