NORWALK - Gov. Jodi Rell (R-Conn.) is cautioning Connecticut residents to stay off of the roads as a blizzard slams the state.
Snow plows rolled out of Norwalk?s Department of Public Works early to get a head-start on the storm.
Rell is asking residents to, if possible, avoid driving to make it easier for emergency crews to clear the roads for the morning commute.
Bridgeport's Director of Emergency Management Scott Appleby also urges residents to be aware of the parking rules on city streets to allow plows through.
