Orange woman arrested after police chase

A woman from Orange is facing charges for allegedly driving under the influence and leading police on a chase through Bridgeport last night.The chase began

BRIDGEPORT - A woman from Orange is facing charges for allegedly driving under the influence and leading police on a chase through Bridgeport last night.

The chase began at around 11 p.m. when police say 30-year-old Jennifer Belotti refused to pull over for a state trooper on I-95.

Police say Belotti led them from exit 27 through Bridgeport before finally crashing into an embankment off Chopsey Hill Road a half hour later.

Police say two police cruisers collided and four officers were injured during the chase.

Police say there was an active warrant out for Belotti?s arrest for a previous crime.
