MILFORD - Musicians and vendors celebrated Friday night at what they called Oyster Eve ahead of this weekend's official Milford Oyster Festival.

While preparing for Saturday night's Oyster Fest, all involved made sure they enjoyed themselves during the setup. Organizers say over 50,000 people are expected at the event, which will draw musical acts like Jimmy and the Parrots. The festival will also feature arts and crafts booths.

Officials with the Milford Oyster Festival want patrons to know they aren't expecting any health hazards since they harvested their oysters from waters unaffected by a recent bacteria outbreak.
