NEW HAVEN - The parents of a New Haven journalist, currently being held captive in Libya, are lobbying in Washington, D.C. today, hoping to get their daughter released.

Clare Morgana Gillis has been held captive, along with two other journalists, since April 5, after being taken into custody by Libyan government forces.

Gillis was able to get into contact with her parents for the first time yesterday and said that she is doing OK.
