Parents: School construction poses safety, environmental concerns

GREENWICH - Parents are looking to put a hold on a plan to create a larger parking lot and new driveways at the North Mianus School in Greenwich.

Some parents say they are concerned about the plan, because it would remove approximately 30 trees and would put the children?s playing fields close to an access road.

The school district hosted a meeting tonight to provide parents with more information about the plan.
