NORWALK - Norwalk resident and Greenpeace activist Peter Willcox could soon receive a visa to return home after being held in Russia.

Greenpeace officials say the first exit visa has been issued today to one of the 30 activists who were being held for protesting an oil rig.

The group was arrested in September and originally charged with piracy.

Russian authorities have been holding the group in prison for two months, before finally granting them bail in November.

The charges were dropped earlier this week.
