WESTPORT - The pig rescued while wandering on I-95 this weekend will be getting a new home.

The Poster Animal Hospital in Westport says an animal sanctuary in New Jersey plans to adopt the pig as soon as he's recovered from the minor injuries sustained during his adventure.

Officials say the pig contracted pneumonia and suffered minor cuts after supposedly falling off of a truck on I-95.
