HARTFORD - Two state Republican lawmakers are fighting a plan to expand the sale of driving records.

The lawmakers say the Department of Motor Vehicles already sells more than a million drivers' records each year to insurance companies, at $15 each.

The new plan would allow the DMV to market the records to other businesses for a $100 a year.
