Plans for new Stratford High School scrapped

STRATFORD - It looks like plans to build a new Stratford High School are off the table.

The mayor's office says the Town Council rejected a proposal by the Board of Education to build a new school at Longbrook Park.

Neighbors were against the plans.

The mayor's office says it is now up to school officials to come up with another location for a new high school or renovate the current one.
