STAMFORD - Work is underway on a playground to honor one of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting.

The playground at West Beach in Stamford will honor first-grade student Jesse Lewis.

The playground is scheduled to open Sunday. It is one of 26 constructed in the tri-state area to honor each of the victims.
