STAMFORD - A plea bargain is in the works for Candice Blanks, who is accused of killing two men while driving drunk more than three years ago.
Blanks' attorney Darnell Crosland says he and his client expected to discuss the plea bargain this afternoon, but they pushed it back because the court decided that the families involved should have the option of attending.
Felipe Chagas, 19, and Lucas Silva, 22, were changing a tire on I-95 in October 2010 when police say Blanks struck and killed them with her SUV. Police say she then drove to the next exit before stopping, and later failed a sobriety test.
