STRATFORD - Stratford police say they charged 12 men after an undercover prostitution sting at a motel.

Police say the 12 people range in age from 23 to 48.

Officers busted them over the weekend at the Quality Inn on South Avenue.

They say three of the men are from Bridgeport and one of them is from Stratford.

Police say they launched the undercover operation after receiving numerous complaints about prostitution and human trafficking in local motels.
