BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say one man was shot while walking home from work early this morning.

Investigators say it happened on Trumbull Avenue shortly after 1 a.m.

They say the 18-year-old victim was shot once in the thigh with a 9 mm handgun.

A good Samaritan took him to the hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police are looking for a suspect.
