MILFORD - Milford police are looking into whether recent burglaries in one part of the city are related.

Officials say that two houses were broken into in the past week. The most recent one took place on Myers Lane, where police say the burglar got away with two laptops, cash and a cellphone.

The other break-in was last week just a block away on Campfield Circle. Police say that the burglar there got away with a laptop, cash and a cellphone as well.

Police say both situations are very similar, which leads them to believe that they could be related. The families in both houses were home asleep and nobody was hurt.

Residents say that since the break-ins, they are urging one another to keep a close eye on the area.
