Police: 2 burglars tie up woman in New Canaan

NEW CANAAN - New Canaan police are searching for two suspects who they say were involved in a violent home invasion early this morning.Investigators say the suspects broke into a house on Lambert Road, tied up a woman and got away with valuables. Police say the victim didn't get a good look at the suspects, so as of now, they have no descriptions and no leads in the case. Neighbors say they are nervous knowing that the suspects are still on the loose. "It's something that you don't expect to hear happened within a mile of where you live," says Bob Stiffelman.Anyone with information on the home invasion is asked to call the New Canaan police tip line at 203-594-3544.
