WOODBRIDGE - Police say two people were killed in related crashes on the Wilbur Cross Parkway yesterday.

Authorities say the first accident took place at exit 59 in the northbound lanes, near Woodbridge. They say 68-year-old Peter Marino hit the back of a motorcycle, sending the cyclist flying into the air and killing him.

Troopers say Marino did not stop and then crashed at exit 63 in North Haven. They say he veered off the road and down an embankment, hitting several trees. He was also pronounced dead.

Police say they are still investigating.
