DARIEN - Four people were arraigned today in Darien after police say they were busted just moments before completing a heroin deal.
Police say they arrested the suspects last night inside an abandoned house on Old Kings Highway North after being tipped off by a neighbor.
According to police, the heroin deal was to take place inside the fire-ravaged house of one of the suspects, Eric Sing. The officers set up the perimeter and waited for the delivery.
Police say they arrested Victor Deleon at the door and apprehended Rahsen Fisher after he tried to flee on foot.
Officers also arrested a minor, whose identity has not been released due to his age. His case is being handled in juvenile court.
Investigators say Sing's abandoned house has been on their radar before. In 2009, four people, including the son of Gov. Dannel Malloy (D-Conn.), were arrested after what police say was a drug deal gone awry.
