WESTPORT - Police say alcohol may have been a factor in a Westport crash that killed a Marine Sunday morning.

Investigators say 24-year-old Charley Rochlin was killed when the Jeep Cherokee he was riding in hit a tree on Greens Farms Road. Police say the driver of the car, 25-year-old Matthew Packer, suffered minor injuries.

Packer has denied driving the car at the time of the crash. Police have obtained a search warrant for the vehicle to determine who was driving.
