Police arrest Marjorie Swanke, of Norwalk, following anonymous tip about alleged burglary plan

Investigators say she had ties to the home she planned to burglarize and steal from. (2/26/14)

NEW CANAAN - A Norwalk woman has been arrested over an alleged burglary scheme targeting a home in New Canaan.

Police say they got an anonymous tip on Friday and arrested Marjorie Swanke, 41, on Monday. Police say Swanke had been asking for help with her plan.

According to investigators, she had ties to the home she planned to burglarize.

Swanke went before a judge on Monday and her bond was set at $75,000. She's due back in court in March.
