Police say the shooting may have been linked

Police say the shooting may have been linked to the murder of a Bridgeport man in Danbury.

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say they have arrested a man for shooting up a house that may be connected to a fatal shooting in Danbury. 

Police say they arrested Rashad Dancy, 25, after stopping his car late Monday on Boston Avenue. 

Officers say a house on Shelton Street was sprayed with bullets earlier that day in a possible act of retaliation after the shooting death of a Bridgeport man in Danbury.

Published reports say officers found a rifle cartridge in Dancy's car that matched ones found outside that home.
