STAMFORD - Stamford police say a car chase late Tuesday night ended with two arrests.

Authorities say a woman led officers on a 100 mile-per-hour chase on Interstate 95, then turned off on exit 13 and sped through Stamford, ramming through gates and leaving parts of her car in her wake.

Police say the incident started after they tried to question Milton Marshall about a shooting. He then jumped into the passenger seat of a car driven by Brittney McDow, and she took off.

Police say the high-speed chase ended on Crescent Street, where McDow tore through heavy chain link fences, plowed into a building and then rammed two patrol cars, injuring two officers.

The two injured officers were treated and released from the hospital.

Police say they arrested the driver and passenger, who are now facing multiple charges.
