Bridgeport police are asking for help in their investigating of a shooting this week. Police say a 22-year-old man was shot in the back.

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police are asking for help in their investigating of a shooting this week.

Police say a 22-year-old man was shot in the back.

Officers say they responded to reports of shots fired on Maplewood Avenue Tuesday just after 8 p.m. and found the victim.

They say the man was taken to St. Vincent Medical Center.
