Police say a man claimed he had a bomb to rob Milford Bank on Bridgeport Avenue today. Police say the suspect entered the bank at around 8:30 a.m. and placed a paper bag on the counter, indicating to the bank teller that a bomb was inside. The suspect is described as a white male wearing an AT&T hard hat, safety glasses, work gloves, a red flannel shirt jacket and dark pants. He is approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build. The male fled the bank towards Lenox Avenue, where a vehicle may have been parked.
