NORWALK - A Norwalk barbershop employee accused of using a pair of scissors to stab his boss instead of providing a haircut was in court today on assault charges.

Rafael Santana, also known as Willie, allegedly stabbed the owner of Georgey's barbershop on West Main Street last night.

Police say the dispute began as a verbal argument when the owner, Georgey, asked Santana to cut someone's hair and he didn't want to.

Officials say the owner was able to drive himself to Norwalk Hospital and was not seriously hurt.
