The disappearance of numerous bikes in Fairfield over the past month has prompted an investigation by police.

Police say someone took off with yet another bicycle Sunday, bringing the total number of bikes stolen this week alone to nine. The theft was reported at 11 a.m.

This month, police say over $10,000 worth of bicycles have been stolen.
