FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police are investigating the discovery of a man's body at a shopping plaza Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the body was discovered in a car at the Stop and Shop center on Villa Avenue.

Officials say the body belongs to a 30-year-old male who was reported missing from a Fairfield home Tuesday evening, but they have not released his identity. 

They say the engine was still running when someone found him. 

Police say they believe the man died from a drug overdose, but do not know if it was intentional.
