DARIEN - The body of a woman who had been reported missing in Darien was discovered Saturday, according to the Darien Police Department.

Suzanne Stisser, 63, was last seen at her home on Brae Road around 11 a.m.

Police say her body and vehicle were located in a remote location in Darien. The initial investigation revealed no signs of foul play.

Stisser retired in 2014 after being an educator in the Darien School District for more than 20 years.

Additional details surrounding her death were not released by authorities.

Stisser leaves behind her husband of 40 years, three sons and six grandchildren.
