MILFORD - Police say they are looking into whether there may be a connection between three recent burglaries in southwestern Connecticut.
The first incident happened at the Mobil station on Plains Road in Milford Friday night. Police say the suspect grabbed around $150 from the register and several packs of cigarettes. Officers arrived to find shattered windows and a smashed cash register.
Three hours later, police say a similar burglary took place a few miles away in Monroe. A window at the Stop and Go was smashed in at around 1 a.m. Saturday. An employee told News 12 Connecticut that money and packs of cigarettes were missing.
